This is a great opportunity for a qualified psychiatrist to join the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) of Pakistan and contribute to the fight against drug addiction. The ANF is seeking a permanent BS-17 Psychiatrist to provide critical mental health services to individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Care:
- Provide and administer psychotherapy to patients with addiction and related mental health conditions.
- Recommend medication management plans in consultation with other medical professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Analyze patient data and test results to diagnose the nature and severity of mental health disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations.
- Treatment Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Facilitate patient discharge planning to ensure continuity of care after leaving the ANF program.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Prepare reports on patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- MBBS degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
- Registration with PMDC.
- Minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in the field of psychiatry.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Eligibility
- Open to both male and female candidates.
- Age: 22-30 years old. Candidates exceeding the upper age limit may be eligible for a five-year relaxation.
